It’s been raining all day so I finally took the time to get some new pictures up on the site. I realized I have new ones of Jackson, but not as many of Hayden (hint,hint). We just came back from another great trip to Nuevo Vallarta last week. Even got those pictures up on the site/Flickr. Had a wonderful trip with Mike and Barbara Morton. Talk about easy going…there’s two wonderful traveling companions. We did a lot of relaxing, although we did get them out walking a bit. Showed them our favorite restaurants, did some whale watching and even made the trip downtown and all the way past Conchas Chicas, Mismoloya and back to Chico’s Paradise. Had a really fun day. Friday was when the Japan earthquake hit. It was a bit nerve wracking then we heard of tsunami warnings. Even worse when they started to pull all the chairs up off the beach. The tide went out…and out…and we waited from up in our condo. Saw the boats way out in the bay. We can only imagine that they were keeping watch. And then they scattered, and the tide came back in. No surge, no nothing. Phew! Let’s hit the beach.
We’ve been back for a week and the kids will be leaving to go back to school. We’re already counting down the days to May, when we will all make the trip back to Macomb to see the newest addition to the family – little Harper is set to be born on May 10th! Can’t wait to meet her!
