Vacation is over and tomorrow we go back to work. What a nice Thanksgiving break tho…

We went with Rick and Linda down to Nuevo Vallarta to meet The Mulkern’s, one of the other owners of #1336. What great fun we had. Seems as if I have a Canadian sister in Bev Mulkern. Her birthday is the same as Nick’s, while Tim Mulkern’s is the same as Luke’s. Everything I like, Bev likes. How fun it was to eat, talk, drink…and drink some more with them. No matter what happens with our unit, we now feel we have friends for life.

We returned home to announce the engagement of our Tim to Elyse. It’s been 3 years in the making and we couldn’t be happier. TJ took Elyse to her favorite place, The Huntington Museum. There at the fountain that she loves, he got down on one knee, and presented her with a beautiful ring. They’ve already set a date for 11/8/08. Stay tuned as wedding plans unfold.

This Saturday we’re off to Puerto Vallarta with Rick and Linda.  We’re not staying in the condo this time, because our Canadian owners, Tim and Bev Mulkern are there.  The object of the visit however, was to meet them, so Paradise Village will do just fine.  Too bad the trip is so short – only 5 days.  We’ll be back in March with Keith and Diane though.  Then we’ll be at the condo for a week.  That trip will be followed by a trip to Europe next July.  It only took me how many years to make it?  Lucky Luke and Lani – they get to go just short of their 16th birthdays.  We’ll be flying into London, spening 3 days there before we move onto Paris.  2 days there, then it’s onto Barcelona and a cruise that stops in Monte Carlo, Florence, Rome and Sicily.  Can’t wait for all this fun.

For now, we were fortunate enough to see Ben and Jen before they left for Montana last Sun.  Really only wanted to see their great dogs (only kidding).  This was followed on Sunday by a trip to Nick and Ash’s for dinner.  Again, really only wanted to see the puppy (yes, kidding again), but had a wonderful dinner as well.  Thanks guys.  See the new pictures of Matza on the site.
