Yesterday was Luke and Lani’s 8th grade promotion ceremony. Aside from the 100 degree heat, all went well, including a speech made by Luke. I can’t believe I now have Cody, a senior, and Luke and Lani as freshmen. Congrats to you guys. Pictures are already posted.

Nick and Ashley move to GA in a week. Ashley has 2 on campus interviews now: one with Georgia and one with Emery University. Good luke Ashley – I’m sure they’ll both want you!

1 more week to PV.

Finally posted some pics of Big Bear and Stephanie’s graduation party. Pulled some off from last year. One year’s worth of family history is enough.

Happy Birthday to Nick on the 14th. I hope your card arrives ontime. 27 – wow, time goes fast.Â

Well, another weekend has come and gone and I still haven’t posted pictures from last weekend. (Thanks Nick!) We went up to Big Bear and met up with Pam and Willie and Patti and Bill. Good drinks and company (in that order?) We took the boat out on Sunday. It was cold – about high 50s if the car was right. Still, a nice way to spend Memorial Day weekend.

Friday night was TJ’s 23rd birthday. We met him, Elyse and grandma at the restaurant for dinner. TJ was even a good sport and put on the cowboy hat while the gals sang happy birthday. There were even interesting hints of a proposal – maybe there will be a wedding the year after this wedding. Guess I shouldn’t quit my day job just yet.

Yesterday we went to Don and Carol’s house for a graduation party for Stephanie. Wow, another high achiever, as she is continuing on to get her teaching credential. Congrats Steph!

Today, Nick asked us to start the wedding list. Sounds like we will all be going to Atlanta for the nuptials. Our list consists of people we know will travel, those we’re not sure of, and those we know can’t/won’t travel. The original target date of 7/7/07, might change as it’s not called Hotlanta for nothing. They might be shooting anywhere from May to June. Of course our kids don’t get out of school until mid-June, so we’re hoping it’s after that so we can spend some time back there with Nick and Ash. If any of you want to give us some hints as to your status, leave me a comment and help us shape the list.

Nuevo Vallarta is 3 weeks away and the countdown has begun…
