Nick was kind enough to get us into Club 33 at Disneyland. For those of you who aren’t aware, the is the private club that Walt Disney wanted as a refuse from the park. It’s the only place in Disneyland that serves liquor (hmmm…). Luke and Lani wanted to go there to celebrate their 13th birthdays.
Lani took her friend Emily, and Luke took his friend Kevin. We started out the day with a good Arthur’s breakfast, as lunch wasn’t until 1:45. The girls and boys decided to stick together, but they ditched us old people (sorry Cody.) We met back up at the Club and had a wonderful time.
After lunch, we sailed over to California Adventure. The kids had a great time in both parks, but I think the biggest hit was the Magic Shop. With Mom and Dad, dog tired, we pleaded for us to leave around 8:00…pretty good considering we had started out the day at 9 in the morning.
Nick – once again we all thank you for arranging this special birthday, day for the kids!
Oh my gosh how you kids have grown! I can’t believe you’re 13.
And you’re much cuter than I was at 13 – that’s not fair. But that’s ok, I’ll be ok, you don’t have to worry about me………
