It was a quick week, but we’re back from Puerto Vallarta.    We closed escrow on the condo.  It was our first time staying there and it was wonderful.  It’s 2000 square feet, including the wrap around balcony, so there was plenty of room for all of us.  When we arrived, it was the opening of the beach club.  There was all the food and drink you wanted at the pool.  Then the party moved to the sports club where there was more food and drink.  What a way to arrive.

Pam and Willie came with us and their spirit of adventure was wonderful.  We took the cat over to Yelapa, where we hiked up to the waterfall.  Ok, the falls were pretty dry, but at least we can say we were there.  We also took the jeeps up to San Jose and Sayulitas.  You’ll see in the pictures we got caught in not only a cattle stampede, but a pig stampede at well.

Guess this is the animal tour,  as you’ll also see pictures of the ostrich running around the timeshare and el tigre – the tiger that El Tigre Golf Course is named for.  The sign you see in Spanish says – Caution, this is a tigre, not a cat!  Then there’s Luke the pig tamer.  There was a pot belly pig that was running away from Luke.  Finally, he gave out, laid down and said, you win.  Both Luke and Cody got to pet him.

Add in some great weather, great pool/tan time and some great food and Margaritas, and it added up to a great time!

I’ve added in new pictures of the trip and also old and new pictures just of the condo in case anyone is interested in renting.
