Nick and Ash have already left.  Their visit seemed very short.  We got to meet Ashley tho, and it was fun to spend the day with both of them.  As he arrived in Macomb, he packed up his stuff and traveled onto Macon, GA.  Weselyan College was founded in 1836 as the 1st all girls college in the country.  Nick has a 4 bed-4 bath place.  Still recovering from the travel, we’ll see what camp he has to put on first.

Yesterday, TJ moved into his apartment.  It’s half way between our place and Elyce’s so hopefully we’re both happy. The big brutes of Nick Reyes and Cody, helped his move all his stuff upstairs.  Elyce helped his buy new kitchen and bath stuff today and helped him get settled while he put all his furniture together.

Yesterday was Cody’s 16th birthday.  We had a small party to celebrate, complete with a great cake that Kathy Honjiyo made.  Tonight, he told me to shave his head as he starts football tomorrow.  Take a look at the pics of him along with our new kitty, Roscoe.

That’s the way Nick put it.  His 1st semester ends in a couple of days.  Then he has to go thru the appropriate end of year parties and kick 900 kids out of their dorm rooms.  He’ll then about a full day of travel if you include getting to Chicago, and he’ll be home.  Ok, it’s only for a week, but we’ll take it.  He’s bringing Ashley home with him this time and we’re looking forward to meeting her.

After a Mon – Fri visit, he’ll be off to his summer internship at Wesleyan College in GA.  He’ll get back to Macomb just in time to open the dorm up for the fall semester.  It’s a busy schedule, but I can tell he enjoys it.

Can’t wait to see you guys!

In other news, TJ just signed a 1 year lease on his own 1 bedroom apt.  He finally got his big raise (12k a year ain’t bad, huh?) and is picking up more project management work for Plot Dev.  All this and he turns 22 in a few weeks!

Cody turns 16 next Sat.  If his grades are good enough…well we’re looking into driver’s ed and training.  What can I say?  It looks like he’ll be playing vasity football this year.  At 200 pounds, I can’t even get my hand around his bicep anymore.  Honest, no steroids were involved in talented young man’s growth!

Luke won a scholarship for a week in performance theater camp for this summer.  His baseball team has probably lost more than they’ve won, but wow, has he improved.  I think he’s hit in the last 5 games.  Must be the new and improved longer red hair he’s got!

Speaking of red hair, Lani looks great with her new bangs.  She had another gal approach her and ask if she colorer her hair.  Her performance at voice and at school are coming up.  She’s like to give a shout out to her biggest bro that she loves so much.  The fact that another girl will be in the house for a week thrills her no end.  I guess a mom can only do too much.

Enough of an update Nick?
